Opening the doors to Stage 3 ‘Harmony’ at Esperance Hope Island
VIP guests enjoy an exclusive first look at the next chapter
Future residents were given an exclusive first look at the next chapter of waterfront living at Esperance Hope Island, with strong crowds attending the recent preview event for Stage 3 ‘Harmony’.
Hosted by award-winning journalist and Reside Communities Ambassador Kay McGrath, the afternoon brought together prospective buyers, residents and guests for an immersive showcase of the lifestyle, design and vision behind our community’s newest stage.
Set against Esperance’s waterfront backdrop, the event centred around a visionary panel discussion hosted by Kay, featuring Reside Communities CEO Glen Brown, COO Craig Syphers, Bruce Vivers, Construction Manager (Qld) at FDC Construction, and Simon Lockyer, Co-Founder of Five Good Friends.
Together, the panel explored the vision behind Esperance, the evolution of luxury retirement living on the Gold Coast, construction progress on Harmony, and the services and lifestyle that continue to drive strong demand within the community.
Following the discussion, attendees were invited on guided tours through Esperance’s existing five-star facilities, offering guests the opportunity to experience firsthand the wellness, recreation and social amenity already enjoyed by residents.
Guests then made their way to the active construction site for Stage 3 Harmony, marking the first occasion non-staff members had been granted behind-the-scenes access to the development.
The strong turnout of nearly 80 confirmed guests reflected the growing momentum behind Esperance, with visitors touring the first three nearly completed apartments within Harmony, gaining a rare early look at the future residences. While the apartments remain unfurnished due to the active construction environment, specially designed visual displays featuring digitally furnished imagery of the actual rooms helped attendees envision the finished homes and lifestyle offering.
The afternoon also marked the launch of a new Esperance Stage 3 Preview video, showcasing the vision for Harmony and highlighting the luxury amenities, waterfront lifestyle and strong sense of community that continue to attract buyers.
Reside Communities CEO Glen Brown said the strong turnout reflected growing excitement surrounding the next stage of Esperance and high demand for apartments.
“There’s a genuine sense of momentum building at Esperance and it was fantastic to see so many people come along to experience what Harmony will offer,” he said.
“Giving guests the opportunity to walkthrough the active construction site and preview the apartments firsthandcreated a really unique experience and helped bring the future vision for Harmony to life.”
The event concluded with sunset drinks and canapés served on the balcony overlooking the canal, while one of Esperance’s talented residents entertained guests on the piano, creating a relaxed and authentic atmosphere for visitors to connect with staff and existing residents.
Currently under construction and on track for completion in October 2026, Stage 3 Harmony will deliver a collection of premium waterfront apartments alongside additional green spaces, recreation areas and lifestyle amenity within the community, including its own pool and barbecue area.
