A new app that is exclusively for Esperance residents will empower you and your family with smarter ways to make the most of your retirement lifestyle.

The Esperance app is easy to download on an iPhone or iPad and is packed with plenty of cool features to connect you with the community before you have even moved into your new apartment!

Want to see our latest construction photos or read up on news from the local area? Maybe you want to share information about Esperance’s impressive facilities with your chosen family or friends? This will all be at your fingertips from the day you deposit.

Once Esperance opens its doors to residents, the app will expand to keep you informed about the many activities and resident groups on offer. You can enjoy a new level of convenience as you tap to view our cinema screening times, vote on your preferred movie option then book your attendance.

Our residents’ safety and comfort are at the heart of this innovative approach. You can expect to receive an alert if a storm is approaching or a local power outage is scheduled, and you can contact the Esperance management team directly via the app with any maintenance queries or general feedback.

Should you choose to share a scaled-back version of the app with your family members or friends they can have added peace of mind by seeing when you stay active by attending village events.

Reside Communities Operations Manager, Craig Syphers, said the bespoke app had been in development for more than six months before the innovative technology was perfected.  

“During the design phase we were very conscious of meeting the changing needs of our residents,” said Mr Syphers. “When using the Esperance app you will see it is very visual, with more graphics and less text making it accessible and easy to navigate.

“The app has already received overwhelming approval from other Reside villages. More than 80 per cent of residents at Samford Grove have used their village’s app to stay connected with a few taps of their fingers.

“The Esperance team is committed to finding innovative new ways for residents to interact with their fellow residents, their own families and with our management team,” he said.

Of course, we ensure that anyone who prefers not to use their Esperance app doesn’t miss out. All community information will be accessible on our display board and anyone who doesn’t respond via the app will always be contacted directly by our team when necessary.
